So now I'm all set up on Last.fm, which I think I will make my new way of distributing music. My official page is at http://www.last.fm/music/Spoken+In+Sanskrit.
If you want to listen to the music though, you'll need to go under "Albums" and select "No Album". Or just click here.
Even if you already have one of my songs I'd appreciate it if you could download it from Last.fm so that I can get a feel for how useful this is.
So far I've uploaded Accident and Low, which were already available here on the blog. I've also added "Metal and Glass" and "Windy, Windy"
Lyrics:
Metal and Glass
It is taken a while but now I can see
This world wasn't made for someone like me
They're metal and glass and they're fighting to see
Boxes of metal and glass are coming for me
They have too much support for me to compete
Cause my low-cut shoes can't carry me far enough
Away
I need metal and glass
If I'm ever gonna get away
I'll have to pass them all
Just to walk along two good feet
They're metal and glass and they're fighting to see
Boxes of metal and glass are coming for me
I need metal and glass
If I'm ever gonna get away
I'll have to pass them all
Just to walk along two good feet
Windy, Windy
It's curled around her fragile wrist
But she don't owe me anything
She left off in a chaos
No time left to explain
Don't you know I love these windy days
The chaos feels comfortable
That woman she blew over
The prairies of my soul
And windy, windy was the night
And windy, windy bit my nose
And windy, windy was the day we met
So long ago
Maybe I brought all my troubles to you
But don't think you were a dream
You had faults that I could live with
And a nature I could love
Don't you know I love these windy days
The chaos feels comfortable
That woman she blew over
The prairies of my soul
And windy, windy was the night
And windy, windy bit my nose
And windy, windy was the day we met
So long ago
Cause if you're ever feeling down
I'll be there with you
Cause if you're ever feeling down
You know that I will be there too.
