Max Blumenthal is a new fav of mine in the blogosphere. This post is great - Generation Chickenhawk: the Unauthorized College Republican Convention Tour. One of the great things he does is ask college republicans if they support the war. Predictably, they go on and on about how important this fight is and the good things america is doing.
He then asks why they aren't currently in the military.
Which is exactly how I've always felt. These kids' parents vote for republicans. And kids from families like mine join the military. Two very different worlds.
